This app has proven immensely useful for us… cleverly done.

The latest update crashes when you tap on anything relating to using the apps primary features. Reinstalling improves nothing. Skip this update if you can - the app is now completely unusable.

I lived this app and used it on all my shoots. Now it crashes constantly and isnt even worth the frustration of opening it up. "Running it" on iOS7 and a iPhone 5s.

iOS 7/ 5s. App is unusable. Does not run. Very expensive for a crash app.

Wow… $30 and pretty much nothing to show for it. Buggy. Unreliable. Unusable.

This was a program I used all the time, checked my update history, did the update and now I am sorry. Practically nothing works on this app at this time. Claimed to "fix magnetic declination bug" except this nor any other function works without crashing. Will have to look for something else. Maybe a simple sundial. Unwieldy, but reliable.

New update seems to have fixed problem of crashing. Thanks for the support. APP is once again a great tool.

As a DP I depend greatly on the Helios app. There was a problem with crashing recently but it was traced to Apple App Store & not the developer.

Good app however it needs to be updated for the latest os. Seems to me that the author gave up on this app a year ago.

I used this app all the time in my forensic work. Updated iOS to 8.2. Now, it doesnt work at all.

Dont waste your money. If I remember this app was super expensive. Nobody seems to updates this thing. Hasnt worked in almost a year.

Expensive ap with virtually no support, no upgrades or bug fix releases and iPhone resolution only.

Not accurate, needs more flexibility for time and location settings and... IT DOESNT OPEN ANYMORE. Overpriced and one of the few app purchases that has truly disappointed me.

Worked fine in 2013. Got funky in 2014(always keeping the current OS). Now, after reloading, it seems to work fine again.

As a photographer, I have used Helios to get the right sunlight for my photos. Ive always wished that there was a matching app for the moon. Now the same app does both. The slick new interface is more functional, and easier to navigate. This app is highly recommended for anybody that needs to know where the sun or moon will be. Great update!

Great app worth the price. I have always loved using this app, and with the new UI I like using it even more. I actually used to to plan out when and to propose to my wife so I could hand my camera off to someone and be confident the sun would be in the right spot for nice pictures.

I just bought the app, and its good so far. Helios provides the user with data on sun and lunar positions with simulators and charts. There are a few bugs that users cant manually input an address for the app to simulate from, and rather only allows automatic positioning in this version. It appears the compass in virtual view is also incorrect that pointing and orienting north swaps that for south. However, it looks like the developers are still working and updating the app.

Ive been using this app. on video and photo shoots for years. this update has at least one serious bug that make it inaccurate. in the preference page when "current time at startup"is selected sun references are off by about 5 degrees. if the reference dot in map view is not on the middle line, this is the cause. reset the startup preference and it seems to be accurate.
